GIIOFAT-P-PA85 is a soy-based palmitic acid powder, >85% C16. Palmitic acid has the highest melting point of the common dietary fatty acids, so it passes the rumen intact, doesn't ferment and is absorbed downstream, where it supports milk-fat synthesis. It is the product to use when a dairy operation needs to lift milk-fat percentage without rebuilding the ration.

C16 is a major substrate for milk-fat synthesis in the mammary gland. High-C16 rumen-bypass fat is the established way to raise milk-fat % in dairy nutrition (Lock et al., Journal of Dairy Science 96:6650–6659, 2013), and milk-fat % is the metric many milk-cheque schemes pay against.
At a 55–63 °C titre and saturated fatty-acid profile, the product is solid at rumen temperature. It does not ferment, lower rumen pH or disrupt fibre digestion, so the energy is delivered to the small intestine.
Energy-dense, low-volume supplementation for when DMI is constrained, such as early-lactation negative energy balance and summer heat stress, when every Mcal per kg of intake matters.
Pairs well with MilkGro (fractionated bypass fat with high bypass PC) for herds that need both the milk-fat lift and the choline component, or with calcium-soap programmes that need their C16 fraction topped up.
